I vividly remember bringing my first child home from the hospital. We listened to Mumford and Sons, I sat in the backseat with my new baby and cried the entire drive home. Happy, overwhelmed tears! There were so many big emotions running through my mind. We walked through the front door, and our new life with this little human began.
It’s pretty incredible the changes that take place in your home when a new baby moves in. It’s like the place is dripping with love and mess. You’re tired but happy and then tired again. You’re in love in a way you never knew you could be. And there’s a lot more poop around the house. I know mommas are often worried they don’t look like themselves, or they haven’t lost their baby weight yet. Please don’t worry over this! This is a time for you to sit back and love on your people.
