January Wedding | Franklin Documentary Wedding Photographer
Never say never, right? I am primarily a family photographer because I love to watch new and growing families connecting together in front of my lens. Babies don’t keep, so I love capturing memories for my families! But on special occasions, under the right circumstances, I will photograph something I said I never would: a wedding!
This bride is special to my family, so when she asked me if I would photograph her wedding, I didn’t hesitate. She did not want the 8-10 hours of coverage that is the norm these days. The wedding was at a little country church, with no attendants and an elegant cake and coffee reception which meant very few posed images. This is exactly how she wanted it, and for me, a wedding documentary style is my favorite!!
Yes, I photographed wedding details like the flowers that her momma made and the cakes dear friends contributed to celebrate at the reception. Yes, we got a few family posed images too, but mostly, I was a fly on the wall witnessing the beauty of love with the other guests. That’s my kind of wedding! And if this is your kind of dream wedding, let’s chat, I may just be the photographer for you!
