I love sunflowers. They make me so happy with their big, beautiful faces smiling at you. I used to plant gobs of them in all colors and sizes. Now, I sometimes forget to plant them, but I get to enjoy the ones the birds and squirrels plant for me from the feeder. I dream of having a little piece of land with a big garden and wild flower fields. But until then, I’m going to enjoy other people’s fields!
Last minute, I decided I wanted to get my kids into the sunflower fields before the season was over. We found an amazing little venue in Franklin just in time. I was constantly worried about them trampling all over these little beauties, and picking them (😳), but the light was beautiful, and they had a blast! I brought some other family along, and I’ll post those soon because my niece is scrumptious in the sunflowers too!
