March. What a weird March it was. Unlike one any of us have ever seen. It started normally, and then the world got a little bit weird. I was probably like a lot of you, not all that worried about this virus. I was at a photography conference in Atlanta the first week of March, and we all kinda joked about the “Corona” virus. We washed our hands often, used sanitizer and did a lot of elbow bumps and air hugs. But a couple of days after returning home, everything started shutting down. I was a little bit in shock at first, were you?
I see a few trends in my pictures this month. We were outside a ton (the weather turned nice, yes!!!!), some of us tried to start a lipstick-anywhere-but-your-lips trend, and March was portrait month. I took so many portraits this month! Their little bodies and faces are changing so much, I want to remember every detail. April is looking a lot the same, but we are more used to not going to classes at the gym while Momma lifts weights and not making our trips to the library, the zoo, Cheekwood and nature school. As I keep telling my kids, everything is going to be okay. For now, let’s just enjoy the moment. Life is beautiful!
