A year really does fly by when you stop and look back on it. SO much can change in one year.
I still vividly remember the day my sister called to say they had been “matched,” and a baby girl was on her way…in just a few days! Years of wanting a baby to love were gone. I was so excited! I squealed like a crazy lady randomly throughout the house so much, the serviceman fixing the washer finally had to ask me what was going on. And then just a few days later, there she was, gorgeous baby Emerson.
I’ve had a front row seat to her growing up this year, as she spends the day with me and the kids while her momma and daddy work. I was a bit nervous wondering what it would be like to bring a third child into our chaos, but she fits right in! She is the best baby…almost never cries (although she’s getting pretty chatty!), eats anything you give her (except maybe buttercream and cake it seems), naps when I put her down, and brings smiles to all our faces. She loves watching my kiddos run around, and they love having her here too.
Another baby around the house means another little muse to photograph. Here’s a sampling of our year with her. Happiest of birthdays my sweet baby!! You bring so much joy to so many. We love you!
