Another Halloween in the books! We started decorating crazy early this year, so we have really enjoyed the entire 6+ weeks leading up to the big day! We knew very early on this year that we would be a Harry Potter theme as we’ve spent the last year reading the books, watching the movies and listening (on the daily) to the audiobooks. I hope the family themed costumes last forever, I love them sooooo much. My sister is an amazing seamstress, and she never fails to disappoint with what she creates for us.
I love to try to get family pictures of us dressed before the big day so we aren’t feeling frenzied about the daily festivities. This year, we squeaked it in right before trick-or-treating. But we made it, and I’m so glad once again that I pulled out the tripod and got some pictures of us. I realized looking through past Halloween pictures that I haven’t always gotten a family picture, so now I have to convince my husband to re-do some shoots for me before the kids outgrow their costumes!
