I didn’t get around to making family Christmas cards this year…I did manage to make photo books though, so I’m feeling pretty happy about that. With temperatures in the high 60s for Christmas day, my husband and I loaded the kids in the car and took off for the closest park to ride bikes. I snuck my tripod in the trunk and didn’t mention that I wanted family pictures until we were just about ready to go back home. Getting this set up is usually difficult, someone always wants to play with the camera and the tripod (it’s a satellite, it’s a plane, it’s a gun), a kiddo always wants to press the remote so I have a million pictures of the remote being pointed at the camera, and no one wants to stand in front of the camera and wait the two seconds the timer takes to make the shutter click. Two seconds seriously, give your momma two seconds!!!

I love the sloppy mess of these. I love that we got one where everyone is smiling.
